Almost all students who are not citizens of the United States will need a student visa to enter the U.S. In most cases, students who attend Landmark College will need to apply for an F-1 or student visa. The following checklist has been provided to help you understand and follow the steps that will be required to obtain your visa.

获得I-20(资格证书)

申请学生签证

Each applicant for a student visa must submit these 形式 and documents as explained below:

  • 形式I-20A-B, Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status for Academic and Language Students or Form I-20M-N, Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (M-1) Student Status for Vocational Students. You will need to submit the SEVIS generated Form I-20, provided to you by Landmark College.

You must present your I-20 form, your SEVIS fee receipt, and proof of financial support at the U.S. 入境口岸. All visitors entering the United States must state their reason for wishing to enter the country. You will also be asked to provide information about your final destination. 重要的是，你要告诉CBP官员你将是一名学生. Be prepared to include the name and address of the school program where you will enroll/participate.

Once your inspection is successfully completed, the inspecting officer will:

  • Stamp the 出入境记录表格(I-94) and staple it in the passport

  • 作为一名F-1学生, you have been granted permission to be in the United States so you can pursue a full course of study. To maintain your F-1 status, you must follow the rules related to your F-1 visa.

    1. Check-in with your P/DSO at the beginning of the semester to confirm your arrival.
